TURNOFF WILL BE MARKED Main Event: Open to those who cast 100’ and farther Equipment: Rod, true fishing rods no longer than 15’ 1� feet; Line: all parts of the line head must be floating, no portion larger than .109 inches in diameter and Head must be a minimum of 25 feet in length; Leader: at least nine feet but no longer than 20 feet; Shooting line: no smaller than .020 average monofilament may be used; Rules note from Poppy: I have a micrometer, but I have no plans to use it If you want to be a cheater so be it. If you are cheating you will not be participating again, no exceptions. We are all big boys and girls. If you can not follow the rules without being policed please stay away. This event is not held in a concrete pool. It is held on the river and the course is what it is. Deal with it. I do not have time to deal with whiners and inane nitpickers. This event is like street racing. Talk your thrash, make your casts and let the chips fall where they may.
